Unfortunately the rain caused the cancellation of this afternoon's hockey session. We still hope to have four sessions and plan to decide on dates next week.
Please have a look at the RE sheets from today's and yesterday's lessons and have a discussion about them. Please help your child to complete the sheets and bring them back to school ready for Tuesday's lesson.
Spelling homework is going well. Thank you for your support with this.
Enjoy your weekend.

Prince Harry Recounts

Prince Harry's visit gave us something exciting to write about. Here's some excerpts:

We went to see Prince Harry. Prince Harry is amazing. Finn H

I got nervous when Prince Harry was going to talk to me. He asked what sport we played and I said, "I play netball." Ruby

Prince Harry asked, "What sports do you play?" I said, "I play rugby." Preston

Today our class saw Prince Harry. We had to wait a long time. Zofia

Mrs K-C said that we had gaps in our teeth so Prince Harry looked at our teeth. Neave

Prince Harry was in an awesome car. Before his car there were about ten police cars. There was a red one. I felt excited. Patrick

Prince Harry

What an exciting morning for us! We met Prince Harry.

Prince Harry was to visit Odyssey House, which is beside our school, so we went out to wait for him to arrive. First we saw a red police car, then several other police cars, all with their lights flashing. Then Prince Harry's car drove passed us. We smiled and waved and waved and Prince Harry smiled and waved back.

After Prince Harry went into Odyssey House we started walking back to school but we had to stop because the police cars were turning around to get ready to pick Prince Harry up when he'd finished his visit. We decided to wait so we could wave to Prince Harry when he left. What a good decision that was. We were asked to stand along the driveway of Odyssey House and Prince Harry came along to talk to us. He asked us how old we were. Our teacher told him that we are 6 and 7 and are losing our teeth. Prince Harry asked us to show him our gaps. He showed us his teeth too. (Check out this photo from Stuff.co)

We were all so excited to talk to Prince Harry. He is such an inspiring person.
